Cuban missive: crisis or merely a-Twitter?

Former Mt. Lebanon resident, Isaly’s employee and Pittsburgh Press strike-newspaper entrepeneur Mark Cuban — now how often does he get an introduction like that? — blogged about the media Sunday.
It wasn’t a rant, but rather a reasoned social-media question posed by a man who, despite trying in his youth to sell Cleveland Plain Dealers in Pittsburgh amid a local newspaper strike, is a pretty smart fella about the media. After all, that is how he made his billions.
The underlying theme: Modern man, and woman, doesn’t live by Worldwide Leader credibility alone. Nowadays, they prefer cleverness, a cult of social-media celebrity and a simple link to shepherd the following masses.
