Sorry, Gary, meant to get back to you.
I've tried -- through Bill DiFabio and Steve Novotney -- to have a Wheeling signing, but nothing really got off the ground.
We're scheduling one at the Peters Township library in April, and being an old bookworm i like the idea of libraries....so i might see if we can make something of a Pittsburgh circuit of that.
But, hey, you can always drop me an email at Chuck@ChuckFinder.com and we can try to meet up somewhere to get you a signed book in the meantime!

The Steelers appear to be following something between a corporate line of reasoning and the Rooney Way.
Ta'amu had a second strike of what could be construed as a substance-abuse problem and an issue that a caring employer would help to see its employee come clean and sober.
Rainey was charged with a second strike of domestic violence.
Now comes news that the girlfriend in this incident tells Rainey's lawyer that charges should be dropped, no act of violence occurred. It's doubtful the Steelers will re-sign him after making such a public display....but another team likely will pick him up.
It's a difficult call: James Harrison's case years ago was dropped, and the Steelers sided with him from the start; Cedrick Wilson was released, and a day later the ex-girlfriend he allegedly struck said it was "misconstrued." He never played in the NFL again.

As for Arizona: My best guesstimate is they lean toward Jay Gruden, who was a successful head coach in Arenaball and did decently with a young Dalton in Cincy (plus he has good genes). Todd Haley probably intrigues them because he would have their best player's seal of approval (Larry Fitzgerald) and knows the situation there. Plus his KC days look better and better in hindsight. How Scott Pioli is viewed now around the NFL and how the Chiefs came apart after his exit raised the stature of Haley's tenure.

Chuck,

Did they really jump the gun on the Rainey situation; cutting ties before the whole story came out? I can't really blame them for trying to clean up their act after the Ta'amu incident, Holmes a few years ago, and Ben's previous problems.

Find it interesting that AZ is really all THAT interested in Haley. I know he has a good reputation with them but it seems to soon from the KC situation for anyone to be courting him.

"He’d call the house: ‘Rose, it’s Myron.’ She’d look at me like: I know it’s Myron, you don’t have to identify yourself."

I almost wet myself when I read that. Great piece, Chuck. Next time, post on FB and tag me, please. He WAS my uncle, after all (bragging rights exploited here). I only managed to hear about this from our mutual friend Israel P.

Steve Furness, for one.
I know I played against Jon Kolb's brother and a coupla wives. Somewhere in the back of my mind I sorta remember Steve bringing somebody -- Banaszak? -- and playing doubles once. But I was 13-15, and that was a lonnnng time ago.

Don't get me in trouble with the Publishers!

I haven't heard any definitive dates -- outside of "early next fall," which you would imagine to mean around the start of football season.

But they tell me that Amazon is online with them internationally.

Now, back to writing....
